It is not the best known, but it is by far the cutest of Spirou & Fantasio be used by vehicles in their adventures ... the cult Fiat 500 Topolino Mystery at the border, the seventh model in the collection Garage Franquin.
Pre-published for the first time in the Journal de Spirou in 1950, Mystery in the Frontier will be published in 1952, with three more adventures in the album entitled "Black Hats".
Originally the little blue car is Topolino Coutsan the inspector. It will be "borrowed" by traffickers of hécoïne then recovered by Spirou and Fantasio for a memorable pursuit.
We selected the box where Fantasio, bundled up in his duffle coat, standing on the passenger seat, saw the thugs and finger tip. The dynamics of the original scene is reinforced by the presence of a traffic sign. The publisher will, moreover, to include this strong image in cover pages of the album.
An undeniable retro charm for this seventh accomplishment!
